Powered Industrial Lift Truck Training

Bring Britt Training Services to your facility anytime, day or night, weekends or weekdays to train and certify your employees to operate your powered industrial lift trucks (forklifts) and overhead cranes.

Why do we offer nights and weekends? Because we know that you don’t necessarily want to use valued production time on training. Britt Training Services is large enough to do the job right, but small enough that we will work with you personally to make sure the training provided is a perfect fit for what is required.

Over 15 years of training experience and over 30 years of equipment operation ensures that the training is done by professionals and exceeds OSHA requirements.

Overhead Crane Training

Many training providers charge per employee, and those charges can add up pretty quickly. Our flat rate, on-site training sessions* let you know exactly what your out-of-pocket expenses are before you schedule a session.  We also offer discounts if you schedule multiple sessions on the same day or have regularly scheduled training sessions with us!

Wallet cards and certificates will be issued for each employee who successfully completes both the written and the hands-on portion of the training. We do remind you that it is the employer’s responsibility to give newly certified operators time to gain proficiency on equipment. Merely getting certified does not make an operator skilled at tasks. Only with time can an operator gain skill. Forklift and overhead crane training does need to be specific to the make and models operated.

This program, instructors and all materials used comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 Powered Industrial Trucks and/or OSHA 29 CRF 1910.179 Overhead and Gantry Cranes.

*Flat-rate sessions only apply to facilities located within 30 miles of Charleston, South Carolina. All training conducted outside of that distance may be subject to travel expenses.
